Durbar Square area. Patan Durbar Square is one of the three
grand palaces in the Kathmandu Capital area. In addition to
the main palace building with its numerous courtyards, the
Royal Baths and its stone water spouts, and the exquisite
main entrance, celebrated as the Golden Gate, the Durbar
Square of Patan boasts an unequaled masterpiece in stone
architecture, the temple of Lord Krishna. There is also a
stone column here, holding up a statue of Siddhi Narshing
Malla, Kind of Patan from 1619 to 1661 AD.
